I would like to announce the opening of The Nonist Shop. After years of threatening to loose actual physical products upon the world I have finally made the first humble steps toward becoming a soulless, lumbering, commercial juggernaut that will happily suck the last penny from your children’s children’s pockets, effectively making it impossible for them to prosper, let alone shell out the cash necessary to keep you happily medicated in the old-folks home! Yay.

My first offerings are all Tee’s. They represent a round-up of a few designs I’ve presented in previous posts here at the Nonist which always seemed to me natural T-shirt material.

I am using Zazzle to produce and ship my Tees. They have a large selections for men, women, and kids, in various styles and multiple colors.

All of my offerings are presented here, for consistency’s sake, on basic American Apparel men’s tees but you have the option to choose any style in almost any color. Some designs will only work well on light colored apparel, some on dark, while some will work on both. I’ve limited your selection in some cases based on this and offer recommendations for each design.

The price on the tees as I’ve posted them hover around the $20 range but the style and color you choose will ultimately decide the price. More basic styles will be cheaper than $20 for example, while fitted, eco-friendly, burnout, and other special styles will be more expensive. In all cases I would personally receive a small percentage above the production cost on any purchase.

I will be adding steadily to the selection as I already have quite a few designs in the bag, and I’ll be posting announcements for each new design here at the Annex.

You can access my own shop page through the menu at the top of the page or you can access my Zazzle storefront directly at www.zazzle.com/thenonist*.

So without further ado, my first offerings…

Just Deduce It. Sherlock Holmes’ iconic pipe meets a derivative of Dan Weiden’s iconic Nike slogan. You can see the original context for this design here. This design works well on light colored apparel.

Creative Commies. Bill Gates once likened copyright reformers to communists. This tee, modeled on an old Soviet workers poster and incorporating the Copyleft logo, was my response. You can see the original context for this design here as well as at Boing Boing and Wired. This design was created for light apparel but should work well on most dark colors as well.

1,499 Snitches. This was my snide response to the ubiquitous New York City “See Something? Say Something” campaign, which has been informing us for the last year that 1,944 people did exactly that. You can see the original context for this design here.

Nonist Lead Type Logo. (1 Color) Show the love with this nifty “The Nonist” logo laid out in lead type. This is an adaptation of an Image I created for the post Notes From On The Ground for the Nonist’s re-launch. Printed in 1 color (black) with transparency this design works well on all light apparel.

Nonist Lead Type Logo. (Full Color) This is a full color version of the lead type logo design created to work with both dark and light colored apparel.
