mostly pulp, but i count two real classics and three camp classics. y’know what i’d like ta see again? “flesh gordon”, a ‘70’s soft-porn parody that’s hella funny (I saw it at the harvard square cinema back when it was oldies for $3, and you could stay for the next show if you wanted… once i watched all four beatles films there in one sit… sore ass, but worth it just to say i did). another good old sf which i saw for the first time on cable the other nite, though i’d heard about it for years: “a boy and his dog”, starring a very young don johnson, and jason robards. i thought ‘bout doing a post on “movies that are good even though they seem bad at first glance,” and this one is a shining example.

yeah i’ve seen a boy and his dog. a decent flick all in all, though for sci fi comedy i still prefer dark star, no telepathically talking dogs with oh-so-proper diction, no popcorn fetishes, no underground version of suburbia gone haywire, but funny. as for “forgotten” or passed-by post appocolyptic sci fi gems my favorite is le dernier combat (the last battle) by luc besson from 1983. his first film i believe. good stuff.

Pornographic films are motion pictures with the purpose of promoting sexual arousal in the viewer, often featuring depictions of sexual activity. They are sold and rented out on DVD, shown through internet and special channels and pay-per-view on cable and satellite, and in adult theaters.
