non-destructive, eh? if you read about the burgess shale, a lot of those fossils have in past decades been exposed by taking a dental pick (the pointy thing they torture you with when you get a cleaning) and flecking off one grain of rock (when the critter died, it was very fine silt) at a time until the creature was uncovered. think of it as removing thousands of tiny bricks one at a time. dang.

Because the replication and there are some music enthusiasts who rely so crucially because on our laptops, we also peruse with a secondary laptop.  This one is in a Pelican 1490 sleeve.  It’s got the charger, ability to connect into such a realistic VGA monitor, a separate airtime airline adapter and such.
