It’s been three hours and I’m just coming up for air….I followed the link and then another link and so on.  That book of nonsense if absolutely wonderful.  I worked my way through university as a cartoonist: editorial cartoons, and a cartoon strip that was illustrated rhymes…more influenced by dr. suess than anyone else.  Other than the owl and the pussycat, I had no idea that lear did such great stuff.  the drawings have an incredibly loose and spontaneous feel, and as I browsed through them i got downright giddy….thanks a bunch for the link.
