skyscraper escape pods have been panned by the n.y.c. office of emergency management.

I think this invention would be completely useless in the case of another 9/11 attack.. and those people paciently waiting for the escape pod, and boarding in a very politically-correct fashion: the clippled, the women and childen first, that’s just sci-fi.
